On Monday, 22nd of March 2010, Montblanc honoured Judith Jamison with the North American MONTBLANC DE LA CULTURE ARTS PATRONAGE AWARD 2010. Judith Jamison, Artistic Director of Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, received the prestigious Award during a ceremony at Ailey’s home, The Joan Weill Center for Dance in New York City.
The year 1924 saw a milestone in the history of writing culture with the launch of the Montblanc “Meisterstück” collection and the emergence of one of the most famous writing instruments in the world. Since then the Meisterstück is the perfect example of the brands philosophy of continuity and long lasting nature. The Meisterstück 149 fountain pen was later to crown this range as the supreme expression of the Meisterstück collection’s characteristic style.
