On Saturday March 6th 2010, the Weinstein Company invited to the Montblanc Charity Cocktail honoring UNICEF including the handover of US$ 2 million by Montblanc
Guests filled the Flagship Boutique on Tuesday, December 15th for a special event to benefit UNICEF. Children were invited to draw or write a wish for a child in need on a uniquely designed silver wish ornament. 10% of all sales during the event benefit UNICEF.
Last night, on September 17, 2009, Hollywood’s best and brightest gathered for the Montblanc Gala and Auction to Benefit UNICEF. The sale of 12 Celebrity Portraits and one-of-a-kind writing instruments helps Montblanc surpass the goal to donate a minimum of $1.5 Million Dollar to UNICEF’s education and literacy programmes.

On Thursday, September 17, 2009, twelve signed portraits of world’s leading actresses with 12 one-of-a-kind limited edition Montblanc writing instruments will be auctioned off live in Los Angeles in the context of the Montblanc & Signature International Cultural and Charitable Photo Project.
Today’s cause for celebration, the United Nations’ International Literacy Day, reminds us of the importance of our culture’s basic roots: reading and writing. What is taken for granted by the vast educated majority of society – the ability to read a book, write a letter or to write their own name – is for many children, young people or adults still an unaccomplished goal.
