Montblanc honours violinist Sergey Khachatryan with the PRIX Montblanc 2011

On Tuesday, October 25th, 2011 Montblanc will honour the 26-year-old Armenian violinist Sergey Khachatryan with the PRIX Montblanc 2011 at the “Konzerthaus am Gendarmenmarkt”, Berlin. The outstanding talent will receive Montblanc’s patronising award during a celebrating gala concert with the Philharmonia of the Nations under the musical direction of Prof. Justus Frantz.

Wim Wenders – a portrait of a great artist and a contemporary visionary

For the outstanding short-film contest “The Beauty of a Second”, which has just begun, Montblanc was able to win one of the most celebrated directors of world cinema – Wim Wenders. The great German film maker invites the participants of the short-film competition in celebration of the 190th anniversary of the Chronograph by Nicolas Rieussec to seize, what they consider beautiful in a one-second video contribution.
