Montblanc honored Patrick Charpenel with the Mexican Montblanc de la Culture Arts Patronage Award 2010

The Montblanc Cultural Foundation awarded Patrick Charpenel, Mexican art historian and collector, with the Mexican Montblanc de la Culture Arts Patronage Award 2010.

He has been honoured in recognition of his use of his personal art collection and his initiative to improve the quality and increase the amount of public art in Mexico.

This weekend, Montblanc is supporting Valéry Gergiev’s “White Nights Festival” of the Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg. At this cultural event with top ensembles from opera, ballet and classical music, Montblanc presents the “Montblanc New Voices at Stars of the White Nights”, honouring the two young talented opera singers Sergey Skorokhodov & Shenyang.

He has been nominated for his work the Daesan Foundation, established to foster Korea’s national culture, specifically its literary culture, and to make Korean culture generally better known abroad.
