On April 28th, 2010, MONTBLANC, the German premium people magazine GALA and the HOTEL LOUIS C. JACOB, Hamburg’s luxury hideaway on the River Elbe, presented the German Couple of the Year award.

The jury, consisting of Lutz Bethge, CEO of Montblanc International, Jost Deitmar, Managing Director of the HOTEL LOUIS C. JACOB, Peter Lewandowski, editor-in-chief of German GALA magazine and Alexandra von Rehlingen, Schoeller & von Rehlingen Public Relations, voted in different categories:

Sonja Kirchberger & Jochen Nickel: Artist couple of the year 2010
Diana Amft and Florian David Fitz: TV Couple of the Year 2010
Karen Webb & Christian Mürau were awarded for the Parents Couple of the Year 2010, Sonja Kirchberger & Jochen Nickel for the Artist Couple of the Year 2010 and Diana Amft & Florian David Fitz received the award for the TV Couple of the Year 2010. The three couples were endowed with a Ingrid Bergman writing instrument and a Montblanc Meisterstück Diamond.
Couple of the Year 2010: Anna Loos and Jan Josef Liefers
The ceremony’s winners were Anna Loos and Jan Josef Liefers who were honoured as Couple of the Year 2010. The bond of love between the winning couple was underlined in a very special way with a unique Montblanc jewellery creation featuring three bangles united by the Montblanc emblem and a heart – the symbol of everlasting love. In addition to this, Jan Josef Liefers received the Limited Edition Thomas Mann.
After the award ceremony, an illustrious guest mix from the world of culture, media and entertainment enjoyed an exclusive, romantic, four-course dinner at the HOTEL LOUIS C. JACOB restaurant.
