Each year, Montblanc International presents on the night before the Academy Awards the announcement of their annual charity initiative. This year, the star-studded charity event featured the unveiling of the Montblanc Wish Tree.

The Montblanc Wish Tree gave celebrity guests of the Charity Cocktail the opportunity to write their “wishes” for children’s education.

Following the event, the Montblanc Wish Tree, bearing these special aspirations for those less fortunate, will tour the world, and return to New York City in September where it will be exhibited for the international launch of the Montblanc Donation Pen John Lennon to collect more wishes. At this special occasion, Montblanc will further announce the charity programs which will benefit from the donations of the sales of the Montblanc John Lennon pen. At the end of the year, the Montblanc Wish Tree will be auctioned to benefit education programs for children in need.

The Montblanc Charity Cocktail to honour UNICEF hosted by Harvey and Bob Weinstein celebrated the Weinstein Company’s Academy Award Nominees “Inglourious Basterds” (8 nominations) – “Nine” (4 nominations), – “A Single Man” (1 nomination).
