The Meisterstück: A timeless classic

Representing the six glaciers of the Mont Blanc mountain, the white star adorning the cap of each writing instrument became brand emblem and trademark in 1913 and remains symbol for high aspiration and commitment to superb quality. Inspired by the height of Europe’s highest mountain, the number 4.810 was added to the nib of each Meisterstück in 1929.

As far as the craftsmanship is concerned, the Meisterstück derives its singularity from its recognisable and unchanged set of traits:

• three gold-plated rings with the embossed Montblanc brand name on the cap
• Hand-crafted 18K gold nib with rhodium-plated inlay, engraved with the number 4.810, symbolising the height of the Mont Blanc mountain
