Happy Chinese New Year! #CNY
Can you guess which timepieces hide behind these beautiful case backs?
Today we celebrate the birthday of Henry E. Steinway, the father of the grand piano, and undoubtedly one of the great patrons of the arts.
Fact 80 of #90facts: Ever wondered how we ensure the quality of a Meisterstück during a flight? The pressure on planes is lower than on the ground and will naturally cause ink to drip from a fountain pen. To prevent this the fountain pens are filled to the 1/3 mark with ink, placed in a small pressure chamber and assessed at what point the fountain pen starts dripping. The results are compared to prescribed standards and help us to keep our fountain pens as dry as possible.
